If I only ate an apple a day for two weeks, would I lose weight?
I taught English in China for two year and many of my students tried what they called the apple diet. The girls over there are obsessed with being anorexic, seriously skinny is an understatement. Then we had Sports Day at school and some of the girls (19-25 year olds) were jumping jump rope and girls of all different ages and sizes just started passing out one after another. Between 20-30 girls passed out that day and 7 of them had to go to the hospital and got fed with an IV. This just goes to show you that this kind of diet is dangerous for anyone. Why don't you focus on toning rather than losing weight. Try Zumba and Pilates, they're really good and fun and you get result really fast. I used to fluctuate between 50 and 55 and I so wanted to be under 50 but then I realized I look damn hot and there's nothing wrong with me and there's nothing wrong with you either. At 15 you could even still have some baby weight, I did. Once that baby weight all shifts towards you're boobs, you're gonna be a hot little thing. So don't worry to much about the scale. Keep working out and focus on being healthy. Please don't do the apple diet, you'll only lose weight temporarily but you'll gain it back much faster because your body will want to hang onto whatever fat it consumes because it won't trust you and will think you're gonna starve it again.
