I wanna play a guitar before i buy it will guitar center let me do this?

I wanna gte a flying v its 950 bucks and I wanna play it before I buy it. They only have it at two stores one in oregon one in california and I'm in illinios. Would they send the guitar to thw store by me so I can gtry it before I buy it? Cause its gonna be over 1000 dollars so its something I should really play before I buy
