Is he telling me he loves me?

So were having a general conversation about couples and jobs...we both work and I said at least one have to be working he then tells.me as long as we are in love it dont matter right boo!!! Then today he say something funny about himself and ask me what he.meant so I tell him then he says.thats right baby thats why I love my girl.......now we been dating for a year this past weekend was the first time he.spent thw.night at my house hes not a very verbal guy and for some reason this women are out to hurt men but is this his way of saying I love you
